Ether Griots are Soul Sorce companions: the souls of the four other sorces who choose to assist Soul sorcers with shapherding souls to and from the Sorce are reborn from the earth as Giants who carry the stories numerous departed souls. These companions enhance the sorcing of their chosen Sorce students until the Companion chooses to return to the Sorce. Ether Griots house the history of the Soul Sorcer and every soul shepherded by the sorcer. Ether griots house and teach their sorcers lost spells. They are strong and large and, apparently, indestructible.
